The Slender Wallet in Damier Graphite is a masterclass in masculine minimalism. Designed for those who prefer a streamlined profile without sacrificing the heritage of the House of Louis Vuitton, this wallet fits comfortably into a front or back trouser pocket without creating an unsightly bulge.
The Damier Graphite Aesthetic: Introduced as a modern reimagining of the classic 1888 Damier pattern, the Graphite variation features a sophisticated palette of black and slate grey checks. This understated, urban colorway provides a discreet alternative to the traditional brown Monogram, making it the preferred choice for a professional and contemporary wardrobe.
Materials & Construction:
-
Coated Canvas: The exterior is crafted from Louis Vuitton’s legendary treated canvas, renowned for its extreme durability, water resistance, and scratch-proof qualities.
-
Cross-Grain Leather Lining: The interior is lined with supple, black cowhide leather, providing a tactile contrast to the rugged exterior.
-
Hand-Finished Edges: Every edge is meticulously dyed and sealed by hand to ensure the wallet maintains its structure through years of daily use.
Internal Organization: Despite its “slender” name, the wallet is engineered for maximum utility:
-
8 Card Slots: Precision-cut slots designed to hold credit cards, ID, and business cards securely.
-
1 Bill Compartment: A full-length pocket for banknotes, keeping them crisp and uncreased.
-
Compact Dimensions: Approximately 11 x 8.5 x 2 cm, balancing capacity with a slim, foldable silhouette.
Why Choose Damier Graphite?
-
Discretion: The lack of bright logos makes it a “quiet luxury” staple.
-
Resilience: The coated canvas is significantly more resistant to wear and tear than traditional calfskin.
-
Timelessness: The checkerboard pattern is a permanent fixture of the brand’s identity, ensuring the piece never goes out of style.
Product Care
To preserve the canvas, it is recommended to avoid contact with abrasive surfaces and to clean the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth if necessary.
